2014 Game Technology Conference

The Game Technology Conference is an annual internal event hosted by Sony Computer Entertainment America for PlayStation studios and development teams. Over the past few years, I’ve helped shape a cohesive visual theme across all conference materials, including apparel, badges, presentations, signage, and digital programs.

This year, the program took the form of a comic book, using a narrative to deliver conference details. The story followed two fictional attendees, Steve and Honeybunny, as they were pulled into the program and guided through sessions, events, and characters along the way.

A major focus was the digital program app, which included scheduling tools and a location-based check-in game. Attendees earned badges and prizes by checking in to panels and events, supported by nearly 30 custom-designed in-app badges—from Early Riser to Top of the World.
